Exercising regularly is important for individuals who require a prescription to buy Celebrex to treat their arthritis. Consistent activity helps keep the joints limber. However, experts say that people with joint pain should avoid overdoing it, as this may actually interfere with well-being.
Dr. Elaine Husni, a rheumatologist at the Cleveland Clinic, told Lexington, Kentucky news station WTVQ that it is important for individuals with arthritis to exercise regularly, but patients should still pay attention to their body. While pushing through a little bit of pain is a necessary component of being active with arthritis, there are limits.
"If you're really feeling it the next day, pain all over is getting a lot worse, then you want to modify it back a little bit. So, instead of exercising every other day, we might want to go down to once a week until that body part heals," Husni told the news source.
The World Health Organization recognizes arthritis as one of the leading causes of disability. However, it doesn't have to keep individuals from doing the activities they want to. By remaining active but not working out excessively patients can keep their joints functioning at a high level.
